Some information indicates that two Japanese banks signed an agreement to provide a joint funding loan of $ 330 million to build a Solar Energy Facility in Qatar with an 800-megawatts capacity. According to the site information, Mizuho Bank and Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) agreed to finance the first Solar Power Station in Qatar. This project is expected to support the country's efforts to increase the Total Renewable Energy Generation to 20% of the Domestic Energy Production by 2030. And according to the report, the contractors will build the Solar Energy Facility in Al-Kharsaa, which is located in the west of the country."
